VIRTUALL PRO
To embody Virtuall Pro’s mission of blending physical and digital worlds (phygital), a repurposed 3D vest was used, featuring both conventional and AR-enabled sides.
02
RESEARCH
Extensive user research focused on Gen Z’s use of AR and 3D on social media led to the development of three interactive AR filter jackets. Findings showed a preference for digital accessories beyond real-life limitations.
03
PROTOTYPES
Prototypes included a lava-themed jacket, one with simulated hair growth, and another with tribal-inspired metalwork.
04
RESULTS
The T-shape design was subsequently adopted as a filter on Snapchat and TikTok, leading to Virtuall Pro’s highest social media engagement rates, soaring from under 50 to over 5,000. This significant increase contributed to further research into how Gen Z interacts with digital fashion on social media in a phygital context and how AR can be leveraged to better understand their preferences.
